Marvel at these beehive-shaped kilns built over 130 years ago. These kilns were used to convert pinyon and juniper logs to charcoal to be used in nearby silver mines. These are considered to be the best surviving examples of charcoal kilns in the western states. Then it's on to Aguereberry Point, a spectacular view from 6,433 feet above the valley floor. The tour concludes with a final stop at Mosaic Canyon. A short walk into this geologic wonder reveals patterned walls of polished multicolored rock.
